Anyone that's been keeping an eye on the site the last couple of days will notice that our month of cool down time after the LAN has now passed, and Felix and myself are now back in the bunker plotting out our next delicious battle plan. However poor Mr. Sir is in fact without the glories of internets right now as he is in fact between domiciles, but FEAR NOT our dearest padawans your beloved leader shall be reunited with the information super highway on the 14th of January - or so say Exetel.
I myself have also come off the bench and been slaving away in this 40 degree heat for two days (taking periodic breaks to eat, sleep, game, shower and hand out hot American dickings) pushing out the now live photo Gallery section, the "here's a few tips for you to learn before you signup to the new league, guy" Left4Dead Versus Strategy Guide, and setting up the foundations for our soon to arive Playtopia Left4Dead League (of awesomnesses). Go and check them all out... .. ..... .. now.
One thing that has been on mind my while undertaking these tasks of late (well... except the dickings..) is forums. Forums, forums, forums, forums, forums! On one side I think "you know, it might be nice to have a couple more forums for people to talk about specific topics, such as personal artwork (which has seen a few requests before mind you), or console games, etc etc". However then I get sucked back to terrafirma by the vacuum'esque whore that is gravitality and realise "I hate sites with a forum dedicated to every fucking topic you can think of! They don't all get used and turn the establishment into a clusterfuck!". In a strange turn of events I think needed to setup some more forums to handle the upcoming Left4Dead League, and I came devilishly close to punching myself in the testicles! Just out of plain old necessity I had to create something like 3 or 4 new forums, most buried within one another like some sort of symbiotic anal plug.
Plug's aside, I have actually been having a bit of a brain storm about more content for the site, but both Felix and I want to bring you the community, some quality content - not some gimmick filled paraphernalia that clutters the site like millions of other gaming communities, and not some trashy RSS news aggregator that fills our front page with the front pages from another 20 sites. No, you're worth more than that! You deserve thoughtful and well crafted treasures for far away lands. You deserve the sort of content that a great King of the North would send a messenger on horseback through Idhopal, lands full of dangerous force soldiers and crafty assasins to bear said content to your most lickable eyeballs, no... THREE messengers, just in case the first 2 are lost to the war dogs of Raj Ahten.. wait... where was I?
